The winner of the cosplay contest will be able to visit all the premieres of the Kamalov Theater in Kazan for free

The photo contest was announced in honor of the opening of the 113th theatrical season.

(KZN.RU, August 22). The Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal will mark the opening of the new season 113 with the cosplay competition. Kazan citizens can impersonate the heroes of the performances from the repertoire of the troupe.

Each participant of the competition can choose not more than 3 heroes from current performances, for example, the “Blue Shawl” and “Khoja Nasretdin”, and from the archival ones, such as the famous “Old Man from the Village of Aldermesh”, “Black Cloak” or another. Using theater costumes is forbidden.

To participate in the contest, you need to post pictures of your creations in a special community theater album in social networks and on your own page with hashtags #камал_косплей #камал_113_сезон #камалтеатрыняратам. At the same time, you have to follow the theater’s account and to repost a record of the competition.

Works are accepted until September 12. From September 13 to September 16, the jury members will choose the top 10 pictures. From September 17 to September 30, there will be an internet vote for the most accurate and original impersonation of the heroes of the performances. The winner's name will be announced on October 1. The award ceremony will take place on October 5 at the opening of the season, reports the press service of the Kamal Theater.
