The movement of transport will be limited on the route of the Night Cycle Fest in Kazan

The traditional bicycle ride will take place in the capital of the RT on the night of July 20-21.

(KZN.RU, July 18). On the night of July 20-21, a bicycle fest will be held in Kazan. The gathering of participants is scheduled for July 20 at the territory of the stadium “Kazan Arena” adjacent to the eastern stand from 9 pm to 10.45 pm. Anyone can join the fest; registration for participation will last until 10 pm on July 20.

The column of cyclists will leave the sports arena and ride along Yamashev Prospect, the Sibirsky Tract, in Derbyshki through the streets Mir, Khalezov, Sovetskaya, Nachalnauya, Lipatov, Topolevaya, Glavnaya. Also, participants of the race will ride along Nikolai Ershov Street, Vishnevsky Street, Millennium Bridge, Fatykh Amirkhan Prospect, Sibgat Khakim Street, and Chistopolskaya Street.

Several stops are planned on the way: near the Kazan Compressor Plant, the stadium “Raketa”, the Kolkhoz market in Derbyshki (Lipatov Street), The Kompressorny Node, the Kazan Cooperative Institute. The column will return to the starting point at 4 am on July 21. Traditionally, the tour will be broadcasted on the “BIM-radio”. At each stop, the participants of the cycle fest will listen to the stories recorded by famous speakers.

From 10 pm on July 20 to 4 am on July 21, the traffic will be limited on the route of the Night Cycle Fest.

From 10.45 pm to 11.30 pm on July 20, the roadway on Yamashev Prospect, Sibirsky Tract will be closed.

From 11.30 pm on July 20 to 12.50 am on July 21, the traffic will be restricted on the Sibirsky Tract, Mir Street. During this period, the movement on Khalezov Street, Sovetskaya Street, on Nachalnaya Street will be closed.

From 12.50 am to 1.20 am on July 21, the traffic on Topolovaya Street (in the area from Nachalnaya Street to Lipatov Street) and Lipatova Street (in the area from Topolevaya Street to Sovetskaya Street) will fully close.

From 1.20 am to 2.30 am on July 21, the traffic will be closed on Lipatov Street, Glavnaya Street, Khalezov Street. There will also be closed Mir Street, Sibirsky Tract.

From 2.30 am to 3 am on July 21, the restriction will be in effect on the Sibirsky Tract, Nikolai Ershov Street.

From 3 am to 4 am on July 21, the traffic will be restricted on Nikolai Ershov Street, Vishnevsky Street, Millennium Bridge, Fatykh Amirkhan Prospect, Sibgat Khakim Street, Chistopolskaya Street, the ring road around the stadium “Kazan Arena”.

In 2018, the Night Bike Fest was held in Kazan on October 13 and gathered about a thousand participants. Athletes and amateurs rode through the significant sights of Kazan: the entrance gates of the city, the River Port and the Railway Station, the central parks and squares of the city, museums, restaurants, and other objects. The length of the route was 30 km.
