Film screenings will be held at the Kazan Alafuzov Factory on Thursdays

The first show will be held on October 11 at 7 pm.

(KZN.RU, September 25). Since October 11, the Directorate “Time of Cinema” in conjunction with the Alafuzov Factory launch weekly film screenings on Thursdays. Organizers want to draw the attention of viewers to non-commercial movies, which rarely appear in the repertoire of cinemas.

“The screenings will include discussions, spectator voting, and other activities”, said Albina Nafigova, the director of the Directorate “Time of Cinema”.

The program of the first screening within the framework of the “Time of Cinema at the Alafuzov Factory” included 4 short films by Russian novice female directors who already managed to conquer half the world. The main roles were performed by famous Russian artists in some of them. Thus, at 7 pm on October 11, the audience will see the following movies.

“For all I died”, by Nastya Antonova. The film will tell about a student of one of the Moscow universities who is dissatisfied with herself and her life. One night the girl finds the site “No man – no problem” and orders her own murder.

“Women”, by Nastasya Marsakova. The screen version of the novel of the same name by Charles Bukowski. The protagonist, passing through the vicissitudes of the personal life, realizes that happiness with the love of the whole life is impossible.

“Verka-fouettes”, by Inna Scherban. From the screen, the viewer will see the story of Vera, who danced in the corps de ballet of the Bolshoi Theater for 20 years, after which she retired. During her life, she hadn’t created a family nor gave birth to a child. She had many admirers, but she stopped her choice on a married and dishonorable man. Now Vera teaches yoga at the hotel, and each day is similar to the previous one. But everything changes when the experimental Spanish theater “Flamenco” with the ballet “Carmen” arrives in the city. Anna Nakhapetova, the ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater, and Denis Klyaver, former soloist of the group “Chai Vdvoem”, played in the film.

“Sobachatina”, by Ksenia Tishchenko. It is based on the story Zakhar Prilepin. The boy, as it happens in many families, looks up to his older brother. He grows up and, finally, they take him to an “adult” group. The boy is encouraged by everything that happens until the children decide to make a shish kebab from the dog. The main role in the film was performed by Alexander Kuznetsov (“Summer”).
