Plans for the weekend: Night Cycle Fest, boxing training, coursing, and dancing

<p> (KZN.RU, July 19). Another working week in Kazan is coming to an end. The portal KZN.RU has prepared an event poster for the weekend. We offer to start Saturday morning in the care of nature: to join the environmental action on Forest Lake. Later you can move to the Kremlin Embankment to the festival of Holi colors. And in the evening, you can take a bike and go to the exciting Night Cycle Fest, which annually gathers thousands of Kazan citizens. On Sunday, it will be interesting for young citizens to go to the children's flea market, and for adults to indulge in the dance atmosphere on the Kremlin Embankment. </p> <p> <b>An ecological action on Lesnoe Lake</b> </p> <p> July 20 at 10 am </p> <p> An ecological action will take place on the Lesnoe Lake of the Aviastroitelny district of Kazan. Activists will clean the bottom and the coastal part of the reservoir. </p> <p> Anyone can join the cleaning of the lake. The organizers will provide participants with all the necessary equipment. The gathering will take place on the beach area of Lesnoe Lake. </p> <p> <b>“Bicycle Party”</b> </p> <p> July 20 at 11 am </p> <p> The most creative and sporting cyclists of the city will gather in the square near the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal. </p> <p> The theme of the cycling festival is the sea, the sun, and the beach. Participants will ride on the central streets of Kazan in dresses, elegant suits and with flowers. The girls will travel along Bauman Street, the Kremlin Embankment to the Family Center “Kazan” and return to the Kamal Theater. </p> <p> The winners will be determined at the finish point of the race in five nominations: “The Most Sea Image”, “The Most Uncommon Image”, “The Most Beautiful Sailor on the Bicycle”, “The Oldest Bicycle”. A special nomination “The Most Brutal Cyclist” will be organized for men who can also take part in the race. </p> <p> <b>Candy land</b> </p> <p> July 20 from 11 am </p> <p> From 11 am to 2 pm, the Kazan park “Kyrlay” will host the sweetest holiday of this summer Candy Land. Guests could meet funny animators in costumes, attend various master classes, ice cream experiments and a sweet bar. </p> <p> Also, a concert program is organized where the audience will see the play “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, a theatrical performance, interactive performances, and a barman show. The holiday will end with a color flash mob, in which everyone can take part. The entrance to Candy Land is free. </p> <p> <b>The event in support of the largest open boxing training</b> </p> <p> July 20 at 2 pm </p> <p> Kazan will host an event in support of the largest open boxing training, which will be included in the Guinness Book of Records according to the plans of the organizers. On this day, Tatarstan athletes and activists will hold a boxing training session for everyone, as well as sports competitions and a concert on the Millennium Square. </p> <p> The most extensive boxing training in world history is organized by the Russian Boxing Federation on Red Square in Moscow. It is expected that this training will enter the Guinness Book of Records as the most massive and large-scale one. 85 regions of Russia and 175 countries of the world will take part in the project. The audience at the holiday will be 150 million people worldwide. </p> <p> In Kazan, over 2000 boxing athletes will join the action, as well as sports and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts from Kazan and also other cities and districts of the RT. Kazan will give way only to Moscow in terms of the number of people involved in the open training. </p> <p> <b>Festival of Holi colors</b> </p> <p> July 20 at 5 pm </p> <p> The festival of Holi colors will take place on the Kremlin Embankment again. The citizens are invited to join the holiday from 5 pm to 7 pm under the Leninskaya dam bridge. The entrance to the event is free; paints will be available on site. </p> <p> <b>Night Cycle fest</b> </p> <p> July 20 from 10.45 pm </p> <p> On the night of July 20-21, an annual Night Cycle Fest will take place in Kazan. Its participants will be able to take part in an unusual competition and learn exciting facts about the city. Anyone can join the fest; registration will last until 10 pm on July 20. </p> <p> The gathering of participants will begin at 9 pm near the stadium “Kazan Arena” in sector “C”. This year, on the eve of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, the cycle fest route will pass through the facilities of the Sovetsky district related to the working professions. It is planned to make 5 stops: near the Compressor Plant, the stadium “Raketa”, on the market square near KOMZ, near the Veterinary Academy, and the Cooperative Institute. </p> <p> Traditionally, the tour will be broadcasted on the “BIM-radio”. At each stop, the participants of the cycle fest will listen to the stories recorded by famous speakers. </p> <p> A food court and a DJ Set are planned in the program of the fest. And the highlight of this year will be the contest “The Brightest Participant of the Cycle Fest”. </p> <p> During the event, the traffic will be restricted partially in the capital of Tatarstan. </p> <p> <b>Coursing Competitions</b> </p> <p> July 21 from 7 am </p> <p> A coursing competition for dogs of various breeds will be held on the sandy shore of Kazanka on Sibgat Khakim Street near the “Riviera”. </p> <p> Registration and state control of participants in the Kazanka Cup will begin at 6.30 am. All dogs will be checked for passports with current vaccinations. Races of puppies and veteran dogs will start at 7 am; rewarding of winners is scheduled for 8.30 am. </p> <p> At 8 am, the registration of dogs-juniors and other age groups will begin. The races start at 9.15 am. On the short track, juniors and dogs of the “mini” category will demonstrate their abilities, and dogs of the “medium” and “maxi” categories on the long route. The awarding of winners is scheduled at 3 pm. </p> <p> <b>Children's flea market</b> </p> <p> July 21 at 11 am </p> <p> A children's flea market will be held in Lyadskoy Garden. Kazan citizens will tell the children how to “un-swamp” the house and give a new life to old toys and unnecessary things. Board games, clothing, kits for creativity, and other children's goods can be brought to the flea market; they must be clean and in good condition. </p> <p> The entry and participation in the flea market are free. Then at 11 am, a CrossFit training session will be held at the workout site. </p> <p> Later at 5 pm, young citizens and tourists are invited on the children's alley at the literary evening “Tales of Papa Carlo”. The evening will traditionally be devoted to dancing. At 6 pm, you can learn West Coast Swing moves at the site next to the workout area and hip-hop at the Alley of Art. At 8 pm, Kazan citizens will continue to dance salsa and bachata on the workout site. </p> <p> On Sunday at 12 pm, citizens are invited to join the free painting classes in the open-air “Draw, Kazan” at the Alley of Art. At 6 pm, a karaoke evening will begin at the pier, and hustle dancing will take place near the workout site. From 7 pm, there will be Lindy Hop in the gazebo on the Alley of Art. At 8 pm, citizens will learn the basics of tango next to the workout area. </p>
