New Russian and Belarusian-made equipment allow to operate autonomously.
This year, the boiler house of Kazenergo on Muzykalnaya Street was modernized. During the reconstruction, the premises and front were renovated here, worn-out equipment was replaced with modern made in Russia and Belarus production. Full automation allows to control the boiler room remotely from the control room. Prior the start of the heating season, the reconstruction works at the facility were inspected by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
The boiler house on Muzykalnaya Street provides heat to 151 apartment buildings, 12 educational institutions, 7 hospitals and other buildings. “The renovated boiler house uses modern technologies, improved equipment of domestic and Belarusian production. Its efficiency is 95%, which will reliably provide heat to the entire district, including newly built facilities”, - Ilsur Metshin noted.
The boiler house was put into operation in 1889 and transferred by the Gunpowder Plant to the enterprise in 1997. Rustam Abdulkhakov, Director General of AO Kazenergo, told the head of the city that during this time, extremely worn-out thermal and mechanical equipment was replaced, but over 25 years of operation of the facility, there was a need for its complete reconstruction.
During the reconstruction, workers replaced two outdated boilers with equipment of domestic production. Also, new gas pre-chamber burners with automatic control were installed for the boilers, additional supply and exhaust ventilation was made. The use of Russian and Belarusian-made equipment will allow to avoid problems with the supply of necessary components and create independence from imports, the Director General of the company noted.
Thanks to the modernization, the boiler room is fully automated, does not require the work of an operator. All data on the operation of boilers and pumps are automatically sent to the control room, R.Abdulkhakov stressed.
To date, the design capacity of the boiler house is 50 MW, it is enough to provide Kazan residents with heat, the Director General of Kazenergo noted.
According to R.Abdulkhakov, in preparation for the heating season, the company's employees reconstructed and repaired more than 8.3 km of heating networks, and also carried out the reconstruction of 3 boiler houses. As of today, all heat supply facilities and heating networks of Kazenergo are ready for the heating season. In accordance with the received applications, heat has been supplied to 51 educational and health facilities.
