(KZN.RU, February 27). The Kazan International Airport serves passengers with electronic boarding passes. It is enough for the passenger to provide the airport employees with a display of a smartphone or tablet with a QR code of an electronic ticket.
The new technology was successfully used in the Kazan airport in test mode in 2018. As before, passengers can use self-printing devices for boarding passes at the airport or get a boarding pass issued on paper at the check-in counters, reports the press service of the International Airport.
Earlier, the order of the Ministry of Transport of the RF №7 came into force. According to it, during online self-checking for a flight, the passenger is given the opportunity to undergo pre-flight procedures at the airport provided he has the boarding pass. In this case, the boarding pass must be issued in electronic form, not on paper.
