The park in Salavat Kupere enters top list of the 15th International Contest “The city where you want to live”

The jury awards the public space of Kazan with a diploma in the nomination “Improvement of the city”.

The park in Salavat Kupere has become one of the best projects of the XV International Contest “The city where you want to live” among CIS and EAEU cities. The jury awarded the public space with a diploma in the nomination “Improvement of the city”.

The park in Salavat Kupere occupies an area of more than 6 hectares. The first site was improved last year, and this season new areas for games and sports were equipped: a water spray maze, playgrounds with an obstacle course, for playing street-ball and skateboarding, workout equipment and an extreme zone with a pump track. Work in the second phase of the park was completed in October 2022. A fountain was connected on an area of 3.5 hectares, an embankment was built near the lake, an amphitheater with a ramp, observation decks at different levels, a bridge with swings, lawns for games and recreation. The park has a cultural center, a square and an amphitheater for events.

The international contest is held to promote the experience of cities and member states of the CIS and the EAEU, their achievements in issues of local importance and socio-economic development, the Press Office of the Committee for Land Improvement of the city reports.
