Today the All-Russian Competition of Best Practices and Initiatives of Social and Economic Development of the Regions of the Russian Federation was summed up in Sochi in the framework of the work of the Russian Investment Forum-2019. The project “Open Kazan” was among the winners of the competition. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, received the award from Vitaly Mutko, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the RF.
The project was recognized as the best in the nomination “Creating conditions aimed at the growth of the information and technological potential of the region”. It was possible to reduce the terms of service provision, increase labor productivity, consumer satisfaction with the service provision quality, and switch to electronic interaction with republican and federal structures, network companies. It all occurred due to the complex reforming of the municipal services system with full transfer to the digital space.
The All-Russian competition of best practices and initiatives for the socio-economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation is initiated and supported by the ANO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” (ASI).
In addition to the project “Open Kazan”, two more projects from Tatarstan became the winners of the competition. The State Information System “The Social Register of the Population of the RT” became the best in the nomination “Ensuring Accessibility of Services in the Social Sphere”. The official tourism brand “Visit Tatarstan” won in the nomination “Development of the tourist potential of the region”.
The purpose of the competition is to support the solution of socio-economic problems on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation through the identification, selection, description, and replication of successful practices and projects of socio-economic development.
In total, the list of finalists of the All-Russian Competition of Best Practices and Initiatives of Socio-Economic Development of the Regions of the Russian Federation in 2018 included 27 practices from 16 regions of Russia. They most closely met the contest criteria and scored the highest average votes in each of the 8 nominations.
