The airport of the capital of Tatarstan switched to the winter schedule.
New regular flights to Istanbul have been added to the winter schedule of the Kazan airport.
Nordwind Airlines operates flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Departure from Kazan is scheduled at 10.30. The plane will depart from the Turkish city at 15.15. Flights are operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the Kazan airport’s press office reports.
Also on October 27, Turkish Airlines performed its first flight on the Kazan – Istanbul route during the daytime. Before that, all flights were exclusively at night.
In the daytime, flights from Kazan to Istanbul and back are operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays according to the following schedule: departure from Kazan at 16.30, departure from Istanbul at 11.50. Night flights from Kazan to Istanbul are operated on Thursdays and Mondays (at 02.15), from Istanbul to Kazan on Wednesdays and Sundays (at 21.35).
On November 1, another new flight to Istanbul opens. Flights will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights of the Pobeda low-cost airline from Kazan will be served by Istanbul International airport.
