Kazan's experience in modernizing teen clubs was highly appreciated in Moscow

The competition of professional skills in the field of state youth policy ended in the capital of Russia.

(KZN.RU, December 4, Alena Miroshnichenko). The original program to modernize the network of teen clubs, presented by a Kazan expert at the All-Russian competition, was highly appreciated by the jury. Ruslan Semenov, the deputy director for General Affairs of the Association “Podrostok”, became the finalist of the contest of professional skills in the field of state youth policy. The final was held in Moscow yesterday.

Ruslan Semenov was noted in the nomination “Head of the subordinate institution of the municipality or subject of the Russian Federation”. Earlier, he became the winner in a similar nomination at the republican competition.

The all-russian competition was held in two stages: absentia and on-site. Thus, in the first stage, 200 candidates described a conceptual program of work in the field of youth policy on the territory of the municipality and created a video on the theme “My profession is a youth worker”.

40 best specialists in the sphere of state youth policy from 28 regions of the country, including two people from the Republic of Tatarstan, entered the on-site stage of the competition, which was held in Moscow. The participants were tested on the basics of implementing the state youth policy and a set of tests for evaluating business and personal qualities, presented conceptual and original programs in the field of youth policy.

Thus, Ruslan Semenov presented the original program to modernize the network of clubs in the place of residence on the example of the Kazan association “Podrostok”. The institution has been operating in reboot mode for two years. “Within the framework of the project, we are improving our clubs, developing at points of attraction for children, youth and teenagers, creating open spaces, modern multifunctional grounds for self-development, recreation, training and communication for the younger generation. It is noteworthy that the “Podrostok” unites 60 clubs and is one of the largest municipal networks. Due to the fact that at one time it was decided that we should develop, breathe new life into our project, now we can compete with commercial clubs”, said Ruslan Semenov. Changes and modernization of the “Podrostok” became possible thanks to the overhaul program initiated by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT.

Within two days of the on-site stage, the contestants not only competed, but also met with their colleagues, sharing effective practices and accumulated experience. The event is aimed at identifying, developing and supporting promising employees in this area.

“For the first time, the municipal budgetary institution of Kazan was represented at such a large-scale competition. We are talking not so much about victory, but about the fact that this is a great experience for us. They listened to us, were interested in our experience. Representatives of youth policy from other regions even asked for help and tips on how we managed to maintain and develop the network of municipal budget institutions in the community. We are one of the few who succeeded, and we are happy to share our experience”, emphasized the finalist of the All-Russian contest.
