A citywide subbotnik will be held in Kazan on April 27 this year

The two-month period for sanitary cleaning of the city will last from April 1 to May 31.

(KZN.RU, February 28). On April 1, the two-month sanitary cleaning and improvement of the city will start in Kazan. The citywide subbotnik will take place on April 27 in the capital of Tatarstan. The corresponding decree was signed by the Kazan Executive Committee.

Everyone could to join the subbotnik and clean the city parks, squares, and other public spaces, as well as yards. The action on sanitary cleaning of the city will last until May 31.

Last year, more than 1.5 thousand enterprises and 55 thousand people took part in the subbotnik, 400 units of equipment were involved. As a result, 75 public areas of the city were cleaned, 10.5 thousand cubic meters of garbage were taken to landfills. We also note that last year the subbotnik was organized according to the rules of separate waste collection for the first time.
