Visitors will learn about the latest technologies of oil production in scientific laboratories.
(KZN.RU, May 25). On May 26, the Butlerov Chemical Institute of the Kazan Federal University will open the doors for guests wishing to participate in the project “KFU: History of the Future. Chemistry will save the world”.
Participants of the free tour will be met by scientists of the Chemical Institute of the KFU in the laboratories of the university. They will answer questions and disclose some secrets of modern science. Visitors will see oil, frozen in the stone, and other substances with which chemists work every day. Participants in the action will also learn how ecological, economic, and energy-efficient methods of oil production are being developed within the walls of the scientific institute.
In addition, children from 12 to 14 years can take part in a separate scientific and entertainment program. Chemical and scientific experiments will help them to get to know the profession of the scientist.
The tour will be held on May 26 and will last for 1.5 hours. At 10 am and 12 pm, the university waits for visitors over 15 years old. At 2 pm, scientists invite schoolchildren from 12 to 14 years old. Anyone can register for a free tour, but the number of visitors is limited. The tour will take place at Kremlevskaya Street, №29/1 in the building of the Chemical Institute named after A. Butlerov, reports the press service of the KFU.
The university launched the project “KFU: History of the Future” in February 2016. For today, about 1500 people took part in the tours.
