The residential complex comprises 18 houses for 1,716 apartments.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the new Sandugach residential complex in Salavat Kupere. To date, the occupation of the residential complex, which comprises 18 houses for 1,716 apartments, has been completed.
Construction of the Sandugach residential complex began in 2020 at the expense of investments of the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, state employees and enterprises, young families, medical workers and orphans live in the residential complex.
All apartments are equipped with hygiene equipment, electric stoves, fire alarm sensors, water meters, electricity meters, heat regulators and an automatic remote readout system.
As R.Minnikhanov was informed, the opinions of citizens were taken into account when developing the concept of the residential complex. For example, car-free yards were implemented for local residents. The yards were equipped with playgrounds, sports and green areas. There are no noisy recreation areas in the yards, they are located on a pedestrian boulevard with a length of 400 meters.
Tatarstan President got acquainted with the plan for further development of the Salavat Kupere residential area. On an area of 6.5 hectares, it is planned to build 104,000 square meters of housing for 2008 apartments.
Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Aizatullin and the Executive director of the State Housing Fund of Tatarstan Marat Zaripov also visited the Sandugach residential complex, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
