Andrey Lobov has been appointed head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Kazan

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin introduced the new head.

The former head of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts Andrey Lobov has been appointed head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Kazan. The Mayor of Kazan today introduced him to the staff of Department, outlining the new tasks of the department related to the development of Kazan.

Among the most challenging – the establishment of the City Development Institute, the development of the Kazan agglomeration, renovation of industrial zones, the implementation of the Kazanka river development strategy and the creation of the first Russian national park, completion of a digital model of the city.

Andrey Lobov is 49, he has a degree in technical sciences. For the last ten years, he headed the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts.

Andrey Lobov, in turn, thanked for having the confidence in him. “The tasks that you have set are ambitious and challenging. I hope that together we will cope with them. We will work together for the benefit of Kazan and its residents,”- he said, addressing the staff of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning.
