The new building of the Zhilkan kindergarten will open for young Kazan residents in Old Arakchino

The new building of kindergarten № 128 Zhilkan (Sail) in Old Arakchino in the Kirovsky district of Kazan will open tomorrow for young Kazan residents. Rustem Gafarov, head of the Executive Committee of the city, inspected the readiness of the preschool.

Kindergarten №128 has three buildings. The first two are located nearby at 7 Gumer Bashirov Street in the residential complex “Volzhskaya Gavan” and at 32a 32th Military Town in Old Arakchino. The new two-storey building with a total area of 4.2 thousand sq.m. at 214 Privolzhskaya Street was built last year by the contractor company Vostok-S. The preschool is designed for 120 children or 6 groups. There are music and sports halls, a methodical office, speech therapist's office, Tatar language room, a medical unit, a food hall, a laundry room, as well as a playground.

The head of the kindergarten Elena Borisova told that supplementary educational classes, including environmental education, would be organized for children. The children will conduct various experiments and learn how to make useful devices with their own hands.

“Despite the fact the cold weather today, this kindergarten is warm and cozy. Thanks to the builders, designers, and teachers. I believe that there will be a very good, kind, positive and healthy mood here. I hope that the children will be happy to come to the kindergarten and learn new things”, - Rustem Gafarov said.
