The new school in the RC “Svetlaya Dolina” welcomed the first 446 students

The educational institution for 800 places is named after the outstanding figure of the educational system Mirza Makhmutov.

(KZN.RU, September 1). The solemn lineup was held today in the Sovetsky district of Kazan at the school with in-depth study of individual subjects №184 named after Academician M. Makhmutov. This is one of three schools that were built in the capital of Tatarstan for the new academic year.

Yuri Kamaltynov, the deputy head of the State Council of the RT, Andrey Pominov, the first deputy minister of Education and Science of the RT, Liliya Mavrina, the secretary of the State Council of the RT, Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, came to share this joyful event with schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers.

Yuri Kamaltynov congratulated the children on a double holiday, the Day of Knowledge and the opening of a new school. “School years are the best time in life. Both those who cross the threshold of the school for the first time and those who study in the middle and senior school will remember September 1, and lessons, and favorite teachers for many years”, he said. “I would like to wish all the children a successful study, a good mood, the mastery of knowledge that will be necessary in life."

Y. Kamaltynov noted that the new school for 800 students is named after the outstanding figure of the education system, an academician Mirza Makhmutov. “The school should correspond to the memory and spirit of this great man, the legend of the Tatarstan education”, the deputy chairman of the State Council of the RT expressed his wishes to the teachers and the leadership of the educational institution. The school plans to create a museum named of M. Makhmutov.

Mirza Makhmutov's wife Dilyara was among the guests of the party. According to her, she is happy that the new school has been given the name of her husband, a unique person. “It depends on you whether the school will be worthy of this name. If you are at the forefront of teaching technology, and you will love children, then children will be happy and will strive for knowledge”, she said, referring to teachers. To schoolchildren, she wished that their future was full of knowledge and new achievements.

“A large number of students went to schools today on the Knowledge Day. It is almost 420000 students throughout Tatarstan, more than 50000 of which will sit at school desks for the first time, they are our first-graders”, said Andrey Pominov, the first deputy minister of Education and Science of the RT. He wished the students success in their studies and reaching great heights.

Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, expressed the words of gratitude to the builders that built a modern and beautiful school in a short time. “Children, learn and please parents with your successes”, he wished the students.

The opening of the school marked the transfer of the symbolic key from the management of OOO “Evrostroiholding+” to Elvira Salahova, the headmistress of the school.

Guests and students rushed into a new school after the solemn lineup.

Recall that a three-story school on Kurinov Street, №11a, was built on the federal target program “Housing”. The school is located on an area of 11.5 thousand square meters.

The school has two halls separate for the senior and junior classes, a library, a gym, training rooms, and a medical wing. Elvira Salakhova, the headmistress, told the guests that there are interactive screens with the schedule in the hall for parents. All training classes are fully provided with the necessary technical equipment. The school has an assembly hall for 285 seats, a dining room, a gym, showers, a teacher's room, and a sports grounds. The school provides access for people with limited mobility and people with disabilities.

The pupils of the school were residents of the complexes “Svetlaya Dolina” and “Vesna”, residential areas Bolshie Klyki and Malye Klyki, as well as a number of houses of the Sovetsky district. The main directions of training are natural-scientific and social-humanitarian profiles. There will be a music school and sports clubs on the basis of the school.
