“New music” will be performed at the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev

<p> (KZN.RU, September 12). On October 12, the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev will host the anniversary concert of the Chamber Orchestra “New Music” of the Center for Contemporary Music of Sofia Gubaidulina. </p> <p> </p> <p> Kazan artists, and Moscow musicians, as well as a soloist from Mongolia,  will attend the anniversary concert. The event will start at 6.30 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> The repertoire of the orchestra “New Music” includes classics, new opuses of Tatarstan composers, old and avant-garde music, jazz and rock. For 15 years on the stage, the collective acquired its individual style and became professional. Musicians often experiment and present the compositions of Russian and foreign authors to their audience, and also successfully collaborate with major music artists. </p> <p> </p> <p> Today the Chamber Orchestra “New Music” under the conduction of Anna Gulishambarova, an Honored Artist of the RT, is the basic staff of the Sofia Gubaidulina’s Center. It was established in 2003 with the support of the city administration. </p>
