Several thousand students of Kazan University marched the Victory on Kremlevskaya Street

<p> (KZN.RU, April 27, Alsu Safina). Several thousand students of the Kazan Federal University marched today on Kremlevskaya Street. By this action, the students and employees of the university paid tribute to those who fought for our country, and thanks to whom the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was made. </p> <p> </p> <p> The event, timed to the 73rd anniversary of the Victory, began on 1 May Square at the moment the clock of the Spasskaya Tower of the Kazan Kremlin chimed 11 hours. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War Pavel Kletnev, Boris Kuznetsov, Konstantin Sinitsyn, Alexander Malov, honorary guests Leila Fazleeva, the deputy prime minister of the RT, Larisa Sulima, the deputy minister of Education and Science of the RT, Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, Ilshat Gafurov, the rector of the KFU, as well as employees of Kazan University laid flowers to the monument of the poet-hero Musa Jalil and honored the memory of war participants. </p> <p> </p> <p> The column, which passed from the monument to Musa Jalil to the main building of the KFU, was headed by the technique: BTR, GAZ-69, Volga cars. Students, teachers, and graduates of the University, an honorary battalion of the KFU, a platoon of representatives of federal universities, pupils of the Suvorov school took part in a single formation. Students carried portraits of participants of the Great Patriotic War, banners with the inscriptions “Great Victory in Our Hearts”, “We celebrate Victory with All the World”, “Thank you for Victory”, “One Victory for All”, and others, flags of Russia, Tatarstan, and the KFU. The procession was accompanied by the music of the war years. </p> <p> </p> <p> The student march continued with a solemn meeting of the university community and laying flowers to the memorial plaque installed in the yard of the main building of the university, glorifying the names of those who performed the feat for the sake of the Fatherland. </p> <p> </p> <p> The action of the KFU “Student March of Victory” was held for the fourth time. </p>
