Necropolis tourism: a walking tour at the Arsky cemetery will appear in Kazan

A local history expert Anatoly Yeldashev has been involved in the tour development.

A new sightseeing tour "Arsky field: the historical milestones" has been developed in Kazan, it includes a walk at the Arsky cemetery. This was announced today on a Business Monday by Daria Sannikova - Director of the Committee for tourism development.

A local history expert Anatoly Yeldashev has been involved in the tour development. Presently, the route is approved by the methodical council of the Guild of guides of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"The walking tour for a group of up to 30 people, – said D.Sannikova. "It aims at creation of the respect and careful attitude to the history and memorial culture of Kazan, to the memory of past generations."

The duration of the tour can vary from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the wishes of the participants. The navigation signs for installation at the Arsky cemetery is under development. According to experts, it will contribute to the development of necropolis tourism.
