The memorable event in the center of the city was held on the initiative of not indifferent townspeople of Kazan.
(KZN.RU, March 27, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). In the Leninsky Garden park in the center of Kazan appeared a national memorial in memory of the victims of the tragedy in Kemerovo - the townspeople of the city could not stay away and expressed condolences, laying flowers to the court by the fountain.
Despite the workday, several dozen people gathered at the fountain to participate in the ceremony. Students, employees of nearby companies and institutions came to express sympathy to the victims of the fire in Kemerovo and their relatives.
The billboard with words of sorrow and the date of the tragedy was installed near the fountain, and a heap of carnations was formed under it. Some people brought soft toys: many children died in the fire in the Kemerovo shopping center "Winter Cherry" on March 25.
"Children suffered from such situation, this is a great tragedy. We are all living people and try on this onto ourselves, our loved ones. I'm also a parent. It becomes scary when such things happen. As a citizen of our country, I cannot stay aside,"-said First Deputy Executive Committee of Kazan Damir Fattakhov.
"We saw that such event is being discussed on social networks, and decided to join it, because it's impossible to stay out of this sorrow and not show solidarity,"- said Alsu Sayetova, head of the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva, Secretary of the RT Security Council Airat Shafigullin and others have also joined the event.
Recall that earlier the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin have expressed condolences to the relatives of the dead. March 28 in Russia was declared a day of mourning. The capital of Tatarstan will cancel concerts, performances, events in the houses of culture, including a festive program in honor of the 150th anniversary of writer Maxim Gorky in the museum of A.M. Gorky’ and F.I. Shalyapin.
