The exhibition “In the Space of the New” will present audiovisual art, the synthesis of light and sounds

Guests will see experimental films, take part in cognitive lectures and creative meetings in the museum of Islamic culture of the Kazan Kremlin.

(KZN.RU, June 22). From June 23 until the end of summer, there will be several events within the framework of the exhibition “In the Space of a New. Kazan audiovisual stories. Bulat Galeev” in the museum of Islamic culture of the Kazan Kremlin. Kazan residents and guests can attend concerts, lectures, experimental films, master classes and creative meetings.

June 23 at 3 pm, Elena Sahovskaya, thedirector of the Kazan center of light music “Prometheus” at the cultural center Saidash”, will give a lecture “Stories about: light-music films”. She will talk about the creation of the films of Bulat Galeev, in particular, about the “Space Sonata”. In addition, the lecture will touch on the topic of experiments in the field of cinema, light, painting, and sound. Guests will see fragments of shot and hand-colored films from the archives of the association “Prometheus” and excerpts from the films of Phishers, Disney, McLarren.On June 25 at 6 pm and on July 7 at 11 am, visitors are invited to the family master-class “Drawing Tatar Music”. On June 30 at 6 pm, the evening of electro-acoustic music will take place. Rushania Nizamutdinova, a Tatar composer, will perform with a concert program.

In the July program, visitors will be able to take part in creative classes and lectures. Thus, on July 8 at 2 pm, Anastasia Maksimova, the candidate of historical sciences, will give a lecture “Stories about: concerts of Prometheus” about joint projects of the creative association with musicians from the Kazan State Conservatory. On July 14 at 2 pm, visitors of the exhibition will be told about the architecture of Kazan and the search for a new aesthetics of the city. On July 22 at 2 pm, there will be a lecture on audiovisual art, the synthesis of light and sounds at the meeting “Stories about the activities of the center of light music “Prometheus”. On July 29 at 2 pm, it will be possible to hear entertaining stories of Ilyas Mustafin, the doctor of technical sciences, about the practice of media-archaeological research, reconstruction of light and light-music objects.

In August, Kazan residents will be able to talk with Kazan artists and musicians. Creative meetings will be held on August 11 and 19 at 6 pm.

The exhibition “In the Space of the New. Kazan audiovisual stories. Bulat Galeev” is one of the first attempts in Kazan to show significant projects realized by the creative association “Prometheus”. The team, headed by Bulat Galeev, the scientist, artist and philosopher of new art, became a pioneer in the field of video art and audiovisual art.
