Medical workers made about 6 thousand visits to patients in a week using the cars allocated by the Executive Committee of Kazan

The cars were allocated to twenty-six municipal hospitals.

In Kazan, doctors made about 6 thousand visits to patients in a week using the cars allocated by the Executive Committee of the city. On average, 35 vehicles that hospitals received on October 27 help to carry out about a thousand visits to patients per day.

For reference, the official cars allocated on the initiative of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin were allocated to medical institutions of the city due to the current epidemiological situation and a large number of ambulance calls. “The ambulance is working at full capacity, 81 teams are involved”, - Vladimir Zhavoronkov, Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan, said last week at a meeting in the Executive Committee of the city.

The vehicles allocated to medical institutions allowed increasing medical care for patients at home. Twenty-six health care institutions received the vehicles, among them municipal polyclinics No.7, No.8, No.10, No.18, and No.20, hospitals No. 7, No. 11, No. 12 and others. On average, one car carries out about 25-30 patients visits per day, Press Office of Tatarstan Ministry of Health reports.
