The temporary limitation of roads will occur in several areas of Kazan.

(KZN.RU, May 15). The car owners of Kazan are asked to be more attentive on May 19 and 20. These days, the traffic on some roads of the city will be limited due to the preparation and holding of the Kazan Marathon-2018.

The “Kazan Marathon-2018” will be held on May 20. Contributions of participants will be transferred to the development of the family hotel “Ronald McDonald's House” in the territory of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. Rodion Gazmanov, Elmira Kalimullina, Tina Kandelaki, as well as Rustem Giniatullin, the record holder of the Guinness Book of Records for daily running, will take part in the race along with Kazan citizens and guests from other cities. According to the forecasts of the organizers, the total amount of the marathon’s participants will be about 10 thousand people. The program includes a children's race, a race at a distance of 3 km, 10 km, 21.1 km, and 42.2 km. Registration takes place on the website of the event. Earlier it became known that the route of the “Kazan Marathon” can receive the certificate of the International Association of Athletics Federations, and the marathon can enter the rating of amateur marathons IAAF/AIMS.
