Entry checkpoints will be equipped at 22 schools in Kazan

New fences will be repaired and installed at 86 schools.

This year, social facilities of Kazan will continue to be equipped with alarm buttons, a video surveillance system and other technical security means. The budget for anti-terrorist security amounted to 1 billion 103 million rubles. This was reported today at the Business Monday meeting in the Executive Committee of the city by the head of the Department for the Maintenance of Social Facilities of Kazan, Pyotr Korolyov.

The main part of these funds in the amount of 897 million rubles is planned to be spent on the installation and repair of fences at 186 schools, 177 kindergartens and 13 institutions of supplementary education.

Work will also be carried out on the installation of entry checkpoints at 22 schools. At the same time, 53 schools, 140 kindergartens and 22 institutions of supplementary education will be equipped with security offices – with a video surveillance system, an alarm system and an alarm button.

For reference, in 2021, 81 schools were equipped with security points.
