The audience will see artistic, documentary, and short films of recent years.

(KZN.RU, May 29). At the end of May, a large-scale Russian-Italian film event will start in Kazan. From May 29 to June 3, there will be the IV Russian-Italian festival of art, documentary, and short film (Russia-Italia Film Festival, RIFF). The cinema “Karo 6 Ring” will host the Italian-language festival, reports the press service of the organizers. The program of the event includes comedies, romantic melodramas, classical short films, including laureates of the world's largest film awards.

The film festival will open on May 29 with the premiere of the comic Italian duo of modern Italy “No place for the law”. The organizers focused on new comedies that continue the tradition of classical comedies in Italian. In addition, one of the main premieres of the melodramatic program of the festival will be a new film by the classic Italian filmmaker Michele Placido “7 minutes”, the owner of the “Silver Ribbon”, the participant of the Moscow International Film Festival and another 45 film festivals. The adaptation of the eponymous world bestseller “Family crimes” by Alex Infashelli, staged on the play of the same name by the French writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, will also be shown. This is a psychological duel on the brink of cinema and theater, played out by actors Margherita Bui and Sergio Castelllito.
