The Bridge wind ensemble will perform at the opening of the “Genius Loci” project in Kazan

They will play the hits of Scorpions, Gordon Goodwin and Bruno Mars

The “Genius Loci” project kicks off in Kazan on 6 June. The Bridge wind ensemble – laureates and grand prix winners of the All-Russian and international competitions – will perform in the children’s music school No. 1 named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. Kazan residents will be able to enjoy the hits by Scorpions, Gordon Goodwin, Bruno Mars and Joe Zawinul.

On this day, the site will see the debut of a charity exhibition of paintings by a musician and artist Liliya Faizrakhmanova, who has been working as a teacher at the children’s music school for over 20 years. Funds obtained from the sale of works will be forwarded to the Angela Vavilova Charitable Foundation.

The cultural programme will begin at 18:30. Children’s music school No. 1 named after P.I. Tchaikovsky is located at the address: 22, Gorkogo St. According to the department of culture, admission is free.

What is more, in the summer, a national music concert, poetry, jazz and opera evenings are organised for citizens under the “Genius Loci” project. Department of culture will publish the poster on its social networks.
