On the Night of the Arts, visitors to the Kazan Kremlin will attend excursions, master classes, and quests.

The action in the Reserve-Museum will take place on November 4 from 6 pm to 11 pm.

(KZN.RU, October 31). On November 4, the Reserve-Museum “Kazan Kremlin” will take part in the All-Russian action “Night of the Arts-2018”. This year, it is held under the motto “Art Unites”. From 6 pm to 11 pm, all museums have prepared master classes, lectures, excursions, and musical programs.

The Museum of the Statehood History offers to play the game “Bash na Bash”. The theme of the questions is art. The quest for the museum “Symbols of power” will help to understand the issues of history related to the Tatars and their distant ancestors.

At the scientific show “Pumpkin reacts” in the Museum of Natural History of the RT, participants will see levitating soap bubbles, steaming pumpkin, the mysterious revival of inanimate objects, experiments with artificial blood. At 9 pm, Arkady Kuramshin, a Ph. D. in Chemical Sciences, will arrange a chemical tour of the history of cosmetics and perfumery from Paleolithic to the present at the quiz lecture “Chemistry of Beauty” in the lecture hall of the museum.

Artist Rosa Khuzina will talk about calligraphic styles in the exhibition hall “Manege”. Under the guidance of the master, everyone will try to write the text in Arabic script. At 8 pm, the youth orchestra “Sforzando” will perform the program “The Miyazaki Miracle and the Tatar Classics in the Kremlin” and melodies from the Japanese anime by composer Joe Hisaishi.

The Museum of the History of the Annunciation Cathedral prepared a quest on the day of the feast of the Our Lady of Kazan Icon. Participants will have to find the main shrine of the church in the museum in the light of the lampads.

Alexey Gorin a modern Kazan calligrapher, will tell about new approaches to the art of beautiful writing at the master class on lettering and modern Arabic calligraphy at the Museum of Islamic Culture. At the same time, Didar Orazov, a lecturer of the KFU, will present his work on the peculiarities of the rhetoric of an outstanding Russian writer in the framework of the exhibition “Leo Tolstoy and the Islamic World”. At 8 pm, the band “Kazan-Hijazz” will perform in the acoustics ethnic oriental music on old musical instruments.

The Hermitage-Kazan Center invites everyone to the music and literary program of Yulia Ziganshina “Vy Mnoi Igraete…” (Rus. “You play with me...”). Visitors to the museum can attend excursions to the exhibition “The Art of Portrait. From the collection of the State Hermitage Museum”.

The Museum of the Cannon Courtyard will tell about the art of the decoration of weapons on the example of the exhibition “Royal Games. Western European weapons and armor of the Late Renaissance period from the collection of the State Historical Museum”. A film screening of the “Medici. Godfathers of the Renaissance” (2004) will take place as well.

In addition, from 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm, the entrance to the Museum of Natural History of the RT, the Museum of the Statehood History of the RT, the Hermitage-Kazan Center, the Exhibition Hall “Manege”, the Museum of Islamic Culture, the Museum of the Cannon Courtyard, the Museum of the History of the Annunciation Cathedral will be free.
