Three pontoons for water transport will be installed on the Kremlevskaya embankment in Kazan

<p> A new infrastructure for water transport will be set up on the Kremlevskaya embankment in Kazan. Alexey Karchevsky, the investor and head of the Flotilia Kazan company, presented the Mayor of Kazan with a project for the development of the area, which involves the creation of three berths. The initiative appeared within the framework of the “Kazan – a city on water” strategy and is designed to make river trips more accessible to city residents and tourists. </p> <p> The project provides for the installation of three pontoons near the Leninskaya dam next to the existing embankment ledge. The pontoons will be delivered to the embankment by water, Alexey Karchevsky reported the Mayor of the city at the meeting. </p> <p> hree berths will be designed for different types of boats. The first one will serve for parking for river trams that will go on river trips to the Volga water area. The second berth can be used by small boats aimed. The third one will serve owners of private boats: it will be possible to temporarily dock and disembark. However, long-term storage of vessels is not provided. </p> <p> This design provided for water logistics with separate traffic flows so that ships do not interfere with each other. </p> <p> It is expected that the launch of the berths will significantly expand the tourist potential of the Kazanka and Volga waters. Tourists will be able to go on water trips to the island-city of Sviyazhsk. </p> <p> The project is not limited to berths only. The embankment will also become more comfortable: the project includes the creation of multi-tiered wooden seats for the comfort of passengers. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin approved the submitted project. The investor noted that he plans to launch the project this spring. </p> <p> The new space will become part of the integrated development of Kazan's coastal areas. In the future, the Kremlevskaya Embankment will be connected with the renovation project of the Locomotive peninsula. </p>
