This week traditional agricultural fairs start in Kazan

Weekly trade will be conducted at 14 sites.

On September 15, agricultural fairs organized by the City Executive Committee jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the RT will traditionally begin their work in Kazan. Trade will be conducted at 14 sites. Ruslan Fazylyanov, the chairman of the Committee of the Consumer Market, said this at the Business Monday.

The fairs will be held at 7 sites in the expanded format: the Aviastroitelny district on Leningradskaya Street, №27, near the shopping center “Bakhetle”, in the Vakhitovsky district on Tatarstan Street, №53 in front of the Tinchurin Square, in the Kirovsky district on Krasnokokshaiskaya Street, №150 in front of shopping center “Yagodnaya Sloboda”, in the Novo-Savinovsky district on Yamashev Prospect, №71a, near the shopping center “Bakhetle”, in the Privolzhsky district on Pobedy Prospect, №50a, in front of the cultural center “Chulpan”, in the Sovetsky district in the territory of the agro-park “Kazan” and in the Derbyshki Settlement on Lipatov Street, №7.

In addition, gardeners will be able to sell extra products at the following sites: Belomorskaya, №69; Ilyich, №1; Batyrshin, №20; Lavrentiev, №10; Fuchik, №72; Zakiev, №12; as well as at the intersection of Fuchik and Lomzhinskaya streets.

Due to the upcoming large-scale reconstruction of the Chekhov market this year, there will be no sites for fairs there. However, new tent sites were added: at the intersection of Fuchik and Lomzhinskaya streets and Pobedy Prospect, №50a.

Each site attached to municipal districts of the RT, which provide various rural products at low prices. In addition, villagers from Novosheshminsky, Spassky, Alkeevsky, Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Pestrechinsky, Tetyushsky, Laishevsky, and Atninsky municipal districts of the republic will participate in the fairs, as well as associations of farmers, peasant farmsteads, and agroholdings.

Public order safety, sanitary and veterinary control will be organized during the fairs. “We expect that fairs to cause great interest among the citizens as always”, said R. Fazylyanov.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the city, noted that the agricultural fairs fully entered the autumn life of Kazan. “The residents are waiting for the start of the fairs with impatience. This is an excellent opportunity to replenish stocks thanks to the work of the villagers. Special gratitude to all our neighbors, businesses, collectives, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. This is a great tradition. Let's prepare everything to ensure that our fairs are held in the usual mode for the citizens until frosts”.

The fairs will be held weekly on Saturdays from 6 am to 12 pm-2 pm.
