<p> The Day of the Kazan Life lover, the Itil festival of the new ethnic culture of the peoples of the Volga region and the final of the Stand Up project in parks – these and other events will be held in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan in August. The cultural and entertainment program for the upcoming month was presented at the Business Monday meeting by Deputy Head of the Executive Committee Guzel Sagitova.<br> </p> <p> “The August entertainment program is busy, - agreed the head of the Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov. - Our task is to share information about the cultural events so that everyone can choose an event to their liking.” </p> <p> According to Guzel Sagitova, the third event of the Tree of Life project this year will open a series of cultural events. On August 2, Gorky Park will host an evening dedicated to Tatar culture. </p> <p> On August 22, Gorky Park will also host the final event of the Tree of Life project this year, which will bring together representatives of seven indigenous peoples of Tatarstan. </p> <p> The Harakatt-barakat project is also continuing, this year it is dedicated to the Tatar dances. The participants of the master classes studied dances of Astrakhan, Siberian, Ural Tatars, Tatar-Mishar dances, and last week mastered the elements of traditional Tatar dance. Classes are held on Thursdays at 18:00 on the embankment of Kaban Lake. </p> <p> On August 12, the third festival of the new ethnic culture of the peoples of the Volga region Itil will take place in Gorky Park. It will become a platform for cultural dialogue and exchange of experience between neighboring regions. An extensive musical program with the participation of local artists and performers from other cities of the Volga region will be presented there. </p> <p> About 15 thousand residents and guests of Kazan visited the events of the Cultural Environment project in the summer season. Four more such events will be held next month. On August 9, a lecture hall will take place in the Black Lake Park, dedicated to the epic cycle of paintings by the artist Konstantin Vasiliev with an exhibition and musical sketches from the Center of Russian Folklore. </p> <p> August 16, an event for representatives of the golden age – the Day of the Kazan Life lover will take place in Gorky Park. </p> <p> The musical project “The Genius of the Place” is underway in the courtyard of the Children's Music School No. 1. Jazz, pop and classical music performed by famous musicians is played every Thursday. Ten such performances were held there this summer. Despite the small capacity, the site has already been visited by 3 thousand people. </p> <p> On the eve of the Day of the City and the Republic, a musical and theatrical performance Voices of Kazan - Kazan Tavyshlary will traditionally take place. On August 26, from the balcony of the City Hall, leading actors of Kazan theaters will read poems by Tatar and Russian poets to live music. On the same day, the festival of modern Tatar culture will take place in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan. </p> <p> The final of the Stand Up project in parks will be held on August 27 in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. </p> <p> The acceptance of applications for the contest Saumy Kazan (Hello, Kazan), the purpose of which was to create an artistic image of the city and support the development of the creative potential of contemporary artists, was completed. More than 150 applications were received from craftsmen from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia. The names of the winners will be announced on August 30. </p>
