“Museum Spring of Tatarstan-2018” will be opened by Biblionight in the National Museum of the RT

Concerts, tours, museum classes, thematic master classes, and screenings are waiting for the guests.

(KZN.RU, April 10). The fifth republican action “Museum Spring of Tatarstan-2018” will be held in Kazan on April 21-26. The event is timed to the Year of Volunteer in Russia and the Year of Leo Tolstoy in the Republic. These days the National Museum of the RT will have an extensive program: concerts, exhibition projects, tours, lectures, creative meetings, quests, master classes, and others.

On April 21, “Museum Spring” will open with “Biblionught” – “The Magic of a Book”. The first day includes the following: a lecture dedicated to the 105th birthday of Sergey Mikhalkov, a feature film “Fatih Karim. Warrior. Poet”, literary game “Journey for rare books of the XVIII century”, a master class from the school of speed reading and development of intelligence. In addition, a fair of masters of folk and art crafts, a reading room, and an exhibition and sale of books will operate.

On April 22, the concert program “Spring Notes” will be performed at the museum, as well as master classes on the interactive playground “Tatarstan is our common home” for a family audience.

On April 23, Kazan citizens will be able to listen to the lecture “How to become a volunteer”, take part in the electronic musical event “Songs of Our Childhood”, and learn more about the Leo Tolstoy’s family. Museum staff also invite guests to a walking tour “Around the Gostiny Dvor” and to meet with the Assembly of Arab students.

On April 24, an event dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Gayaz Iskhaki will be at the museum. Kazan citizens and guests of the republic will be shown the film “Zapovednaya Kazan”.

On April 25, museums of the RT, masters of folk arts and crafts, arts and crafts professionals will organize a roundtable on expanding the souvenir market, to which everyone can join.

On April 26, the “Museum Spring of Tatarstan” will end with a solemn event “I am a citizen of Russia! Min – Tatarstan balasy!” with the delivery of passports to young citizens of the country.

The action “Museum Spring of Tatarstan” is organized by the Association of Museums of Tatarstan at the initiative of the National Museum of the RT and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the RT since 2014. The project contributes to the development of the museum business, the formation of a partnership between museums, the opening of the potential of museum funds, as well as the popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples in the region.
