The International Youth Festival of Modern Muslim Culture takes place in Kazan

Representatives of 11 countries, including Indonesia, Egypt, Tunisia and Bangladesh, arrived in the capital of Tatarstan.

The International Youth Festival of Modern Muslim Culture is taking place in Kazan from 26 to 30 October. More than 1,300 people applied for participation, 100 of them arrived to Kazan from 11 countries, including Indonesia, Gambia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Tunisia and Bangladesh.

A special program is provided for the participants of the festival – master classes in theater and fine arts, choreography, music and cinema, meetings with artists, as well as networking. The festival will end with a gala concert.

The gala concert will take place on October 29 at the Kazan State Institute of Culture. The concert will begin at 18:00, the press service of the Ministry of Youth of Tatarstan reports.

The Youth Festival of Modern Muslim Culture is being held in Kazan under the program “Kazan – the OIC youth capital 2022”.

For reference, the decision to assign Kazan the status of the OIC Youth Capital 2022 was made at a meeting of the Board of the OIC Youth Forum. Earlier, a Global Youth Summit was held in Kazan. The event brought together 300 participants from 67 countries. The plenary session of the summit at the Kazan City Hall was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor Ilsur Metshin.
