Mintimer Shaimiev and Ilsur Metshin visited the construction site of the Adymnar educational complex in Kazan

It is planned to put the facility into operation by the beginning of the new school year.

By the new school year in Kazan, it is planned to put into operation the first polylingual educational complex in Tatarstan “Adymnar-the way to knowledge and consent”. Mintimer Shaimiev, State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Vozrozhdenie republican fund, held a working meeting at the construction site today. It was attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council, Executive Director of the Vozrozhdenie fund Tatiana Larionova and others.

The participants of the meeting became acquainted with the progress of work on Bichurin str. in the Novo-Savinovsky district, on the territory of secondary school №165. After completion of the overhaul, the primary school will be located here.

A secondary school for 800 students for 5-11 grades is being built nearby. The school will include a canteen with a dining hall for 400 seats, a swimming pool, a sports hall, workshops, a hall for 500 seats, classrooms, and a library. The total area of the building is about 14 thousand sq. m.

The Adymnar- the way to knowledge and consent complex, which will be opened by September 1, includes three schools: a renovated primary school, a new bilingual school on Bichurin str. and a new polylingual school on Bondarenko street, as well as kindergartens, M. Shaimiev noted.

On the territory of the new school on Bondarenko street, it is planned to create a microcloning laboratory as part of the project “Growing together – Berga usabez: growing tree seedlings in a short time.”

“Each student of our school will grow seedlings, so that they can be planted in the city, on the territory of the republic. The project correlates with the world action “Billions of trees”, which has been implemented under the auspices of the UN since 2006,”- said Aidar Shamsutdinov, Director of school №165, about the project developed by the Department of education on the initiative of the Mayor of Kazan.

For information, Kazan will become the first city in Tatarstan with the Adymnar polylingual educational complex. In total, six such complexes are planned to be launched by 2022. The project aims to create a model of an educational complex where children will be taught in Russian, Tatar, and English and brought up in the spirit of interethnic harmony.
