(KZN.RU, April 8). The Kazan International Airport is ninth in the Best Airports 2019 rating: under 5 million passengers.
According to the British research consulting company Skytrax, the top 3 rating include London (UK), Quito (Ecuador), and Baku (Azerbaijan) airports. The Kazan Airport is the first and only in Russia to be included in the rating of airports with passenger traffic of up to 5 million passengers, reports the press service of the company.
Skytrax also made ratings for larger airports. Thus, Ekaterinburg took the eighth line in the rating of airports with passenger traffic from 5 to 10 million passengers.
In 2019, the Kazan Airport was also the first and only airport among airports in Russia to receive the Best Airport Staff Award. The air gate of Kazan is a five-time winner of the title Best Regional Airport Russia & CIS according to Skytrax, and the owner of the 4-star rating Skytrax.

Experts act as ordinary passengers, going through all stages from arriving at the territory of the airport and to boarding the aircraft.
