The Silk Way Rally will open tomorrow at the Millennium Square

Almost 100 crews will cover a distance of more than 5 thousand km

The Silk Way rally will start tomorrow in Kazan. Ninety-eight crews of up to 500 people will gather at the Millennium Square. In addition to Russians, representatives of China, Belarus, France, Italy, Switzerland and other countries will take part in the rally.

The program includes nine stages on the territory of 13 subjects of the Russian Federation. The route covers such cities as Kazan, Ufa, Magnitogorsk, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Lipetsk and Moscow. The length of the rally is 5,247 km, of which 2,277 km are high–speed sections. It is expected that the rally will finish on July 15.

Motorcycles, ATVs, T1 and T2 SUVs, T3 buggies, trucks and other vehicles will take to the roads.

The opening ceremony will open at 16:30 on July 6, and a concert will start at 17:00. A parade of flags of the participating countries is scheduled for 18:45. After the official part, the presentation of the participants and the concert program will begin at 21:00.
