The Mayor of Kazan invites citizens to participate in the elections of the Rais of Tatarstan and deputies of the Kazan City Duma of the fifth convocation

On September 14, 464 polling stations will be open in Kazan for the election of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan and deputies of the Kazan City Duma of the fifth convocation. More than 170 fairs will be organized at various venues. Citizens who have voted will be able to participate in a car lottery. This was announced today by Bulat Aleyev, Chief of Staff of the Executive Committee of Kazan. «I would like to invite all our residents to exercise their right to vote and support the candidates for the head of our republic and deputies of the Kazan City Duma. By voting, we choose the future of our city and our republic. I ask you to take your civic duty seriously and vote responsibly», – said the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. In Kazan, there are more than 927,000 voters. The polling stations will be open from 7:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Thirty free buses will be provided for citizens from remote areas of the city.
