(KZN.RU, August 20). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, joined the updated composition of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for the Development of Local Self-Government. The corresponding decree of the head of state is published on the official portal of legal information. The document also approved the new composition of the Council.
Six new members appeared on the Presidium: Vitaly Mutko, the vice-premier of the Russian Federation, Andrey Turchak, the vice-speaker of the Federation Council, Oleg Melnichenko, the head of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs, Magomed Daudov, the chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Vladimir Trubochkin, the head of the Giblitsky rural settlement of the Ryazan Oblast.
The new composition includes 50 people to 49 members in the previous composition of the council, reports TASS.
The regional and municipal parts of the Council have been updated as well.
The updated composition of the council is still chaired by Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia; Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia, heads the Presidium of the council.
