The Mayor of Kazan inspected the process of the capital repair of the apartment building on Dekabristov Street.

There will be special anti-spam mailboxes and the first in the area covered site for separate collection of garbage.

(KZN.RU, July 6, Ksenia Shvetsova). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the process of the capital repair of the house №100 on Dekabristov Street in the Moskovsky district. The yard is being repaired as well. There will also be a covered site for separate garbage collection. The head of the city assessed the works and noted the importance of discussion of the plans for the renovation of the yards with the residents.

The five-story house on Dekabristov Street was built in 1965 and is included in the capital repair program for this year. The contractor organization was the OOO “RSS Engineering”, the subcontractor was the OOO “Etalon”. Completion of all work is planned by early December. The total cost of works will be 16 million 558 thousand rubles. These funds are aimed at replacing central heating, cold water supply, renewal of sewerage, repair of the basement, roof, facade, installation of weather control nodes, and other works.

According to Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, today most of the work on the overhaul of the house has already been completed. All engineering networks have been updated, the roof has been made by 80%. The insulation, the work in the entrances, the facade repair and the replacement of input groups are to be completed. “Residents of the house are satisfied. They say that the contractors changed the heat supply very quickly, updated all the pipes, quickly worked in the apartments. There is only the facade and some small work to be completed. Everything else has already been done”, said Sergey Mironov.

The head of the districts spoke about new solutions that contractors use together with the management company. For example, bring the wires and communications to the aesthetic appearance.

Another innovation t is the installation of special anti-spam mailboxes in the entrances. Oleg Kalimov, the head of the Management Company of the Moskovsky district, explained that only postmen can open such boxes with the use of a special device. This will save residents from unnecessary advertising leaflets and newspapers.

Ilsur Metshin asked about the situation with the repair in neighboring houses. Oleg Kalimov said that in 2008, they changed the engineering networks, and the entrances were repaired as part of the ongoing maintenance.

In addition to overhauling the house, it is planned to carry out a complete improvement of the yard: build a children's playground, install new small architectural forms, and cover ground with asphalt.

The Mayor of Kazan asked whether the contractors consulted with the local residents when they were developing the project of yard improvement. S. Mironov said that public discussion has passed one of these days in the managing company. The inhabitants were presented with the project and have listened to their opinions and remarks. “We proposed a common solution that would suit everyone. We will have parking pockets and a big green sector will remain”, he said.

In general, the citizens liked the project of yard improvement. The elderly residents especially appreciated the plans for the construction of comfortable grounds with benches, and young families are eagerly awaiting a new playground. I. Metshin noted the importance of holding such meetings and instructed to communicate with residents when planning the improvement of the yards.

This yard will become the first territory in the district that has a large modern covered container site for separate collection of solid municipal waste. “We decided to apply the experience of colleagues from another city and build a new modern site. We’ll see how it is going to be used to further replicate this experience in other yards”, S. Mironov shared plans.

He also said that together with the MC, contractors are implementing another new idea that helps to give things a second life. Old bricks left from the dismantling of emergency houses are cleaned and used for the second time when building benches and other objects in yards.

Ilsur Metshin noted that a large number of repaired objects influenced the terms of the overhaul. “We are doing 430 yards simultaneously in Kazan. This is a very large amount of work. And the World Cup was a lot of tasks for us. It ends in a week, after that, all the forces will be thrown at the end of the program of the overhaul this year. Soon we will finish everything and you will enjoy the results of the major overhaul”, explained I. Metshin and expressed his gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, for a large-scale program on major repairs.

The program of major repairs for 2018 includes 286 houses. In addition, the program for the next year is already in full swing. For today, development of design estimates is provided for 145 houses.

Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Committee for External Improvement, Dmitry Anisimov, the chairman of the Committee of Housing and Communal Services, and others took part in the meeting.
