Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the finished apartment buildings of the defrauded homebuyers in Kazan.
The first point of the route was the MCHS residential complex on Zur Uram Street, the developer of which was initially the Fon company. The first equity construction agreements were signed in 2011, and the apartment buildings were planned to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2014. However, the developer was declared bankrupt in 2019.
In June 2020, Tatarstan Foundation for the Protection of the Rights of Equity Construction Participants became the developer. Construction works at the apartment buildings are carried out by OOO SMK “Ak Tash”. To date, the MCHS residential building № 2 with 522 apartments, storage rooms and parking lots has been put into operation. The completion of the construction was carried out under the federal program of support for equity construction investors under the agreements concluded with the Foundation for the Protection of the Rights of Equity Construction Participants. The construction was financed both at the expense of the republic of Tatarstan and the federal budget.
Rustam Minnikhanov, Marat Khusnullin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Aizatullin, as well as the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the building, the yard, visited new apartments, and also talked with homebuyers. The residents thanked the federal and republican government for their assistance in completing the delayed construction buildings.
It should be noted that in the MCHS residential complex there are still 2 delayed buildings, the completion of which is also planned for 2021. After the construction of houses №3 and №4 at the MCHS residential complex, the rights of 451 and 253 citizens, respectively, will be restored.
Then, the participants of the onsite meeting visited an apartment building on Dostoevsky Street, 57 - one of the oldest delayed construction buildings in the republic. The first equity construction agreements with citizens were concluded in 2003, the Svey company acted as the developer. The delivery term of the house was the first quarter of 2005, but construction work was suspended, and the developer was declared bankrupt in 2011.
Work at the facility resumed in June 2020, after the rights were transferred to the Tatarstan Foundation for the Protection of the Rights of Equity Construction Participants in May 2020. The construction works are carried out by the Sadaka contracting organization, which is part of the Briz Group of companies. Funding for the completion of the construction of a residential building on Dostoevsky Street, 57 is carried out both at the expense of the republic and the federal budget.
In a multi-story building on Dostoevsky Street, 57 Rustam Minnikhanov, Marat Khusnullin and others also inspected the apartments and the quality of construction. This apartment building will be put into operation in the near future, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
