<p> Linar Garipov was appointed Chairman of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Executive Committee of Kazan. The new head was introduced today at the Business Monday meeting by the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin. </p> <p> “Since 2008, Linar Garipov has worked in various positions in the committee and was its deputy chairman. For the last three years, he has been a director in one of the largest sports schools “Raketa”, which comprises 5 schools - the head of the city noted. - It's one thing working at the Executive Committee: reports, organization of events, and it is quite another thing is when you work “on the ground”. </p> <p> According to I. Metshin, the new chairman of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports is a graduate of the Ural State Mining University. “Linar Zimfirovich worked in the oil industry, in the north, in production. And it is very important that such an experienced leader replaces his colleague,”- the Mayor concluded. </p> <p> Albert Salikhov, who previously headed the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports, became the head of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan. </p>
