“Cinema in 7 days”: Kazan citizens are invited to take part in creating short films about Tatarstan

All films will be combined in film almanac about the republic.

(KZN.RU, March 22). The start of the filing of applications for an international project, combining the features of a mobile film laboratory and mobile film campus “Cinema for 7 days”, has been announced in Kazan. It is aimed to create short films lasting 7 minutes from selected creative teams from around the world. As a result, all films will be combined in film almanacs about Tatarstan, and the winners will receive prizes.

Up to 10 teams are expected to participate in the project. Filming will take place on the territory of the RT in September for seven days on given topics. The winner of the film will receive 500 thousand rubles, holders of second and third places – 300 and 200 thousand rubles, respectively. As a result, all short films will be combined in film almanacs about Tatarstan, which may be in federal and international distribution.

The final demonstration of works at the editing stage will be held in Kazan on September 7 as part of the XI International Youth Film Festival.
