Choirs from Chelyabinsk will dedicate a concert in Kazan to Musa Jalil's Memory Day

On August 25, there will be annual festivities in honor of the poet and his associates.

(KZN.RU, August 24). A series of events in honor of the Memorial Day of Musa Jalil and his associates who died at the hands of the Nazis are being prepared in Kazan on August 25. The Union of Writers of the RT invites citizens to the meeting, and to a concert and exhibition in the National Museum of the RT.

A traditional poetic meeting will begin on May 1 Square at noon. Fans of the creativity of the Tatar poet and journalist will be able to lay flowers to his monument. At 1 pm, the National Museum will host a concert of vocal and choral music “Moabit notebook” performed by the male choir of the Russian Cultural Center and the Academic Women's Choir “Mechta” from Chelyabinsk.

During the concert, guests of the Museum could watch the photographs and documents at the exhibition “The hero lives on...”. The organizers note that they will help to better understand the tragic fate of Musa Jalil. The exhibition will work one day.
