Kazan citizens will hear the jazz version of Bach's suites

<p> (KZN.RU, August 21). On August 22, the XIII International Festival of Improvisational Music “JAZZ in the Kremlin with Olga Skepner” will be closed in the Cannon Courtyard of the Kazan Kremlin. </p> <p> Two bands will perform on the final day of the festival. The first one is the Vintskevich-Andrianov Trio created by Leonid Vintskevich, an honored artist of Russia, a jazz pianist, Nikolay Vintskevich, a saxophonist, and Boris Andrianov, an outstanding Russian cellist. Together with drummer Vartan Babayan they will present the program “Jazz version of Bach's cello suites” at the festival in Kazan. </p> <p> The second band will bring together Eric Alexander, the famous American jazz tenor saxophonist, a cult musician who performs with world jazz stars, and Alexey Podymkin Quartet. </p> <p> The concert starts at 8 pm, the gathering of guests starts at 7.30 pm, reports the press service of the festival. </p>
