The festival “JAZZ in the Kremlin with Olga Skepner” ends in the capital of Tatarstan.
(KZN.RU, August 21). On August 22, the XIII International Festival of Improvisational Music “JAZZ in the Kremlin with Olga Skepner” will be closed in the Cannon Courtyard of the Kazan Kremlin.
Two bands will perform on the final day of the festival. The first one is the Vintskevich-Andrianov Trio created by Leonid Vintskevich, an honored artist of Russia, a jazz pianist, Nikolay Vintskevich, a saxophonist, and Boris Andrianov, an outstanding Russian cellist. Together with drummer Vartan Babayan they will present the program “Jazz version of Bach's cello suites” at the festival in Kazan.
The second band will bring together Eric Alexander, the famous American jazz tenor saxophonist, a cult musician who performs with world jazz stars, and Alexey Podymkin Quartet.
The concert starts at 8 pm, the gathering of guests starts at 7.30 pm, reports the press service of the festival.
