Kazan citizens will dance Russian mazurka, polka, quadrille, polonaise, and tampeet in the Lyadskoy Garden

Lessons will be held every Sunday at the site near the fountain.

(KZN.RU, August 1). Kazan citizens are invited to open lessons on historical ballroom dances by professional teachers. Everyone can learn the Russian mazurka, polka, quadrille, polonaise, tamptet, and many other dances at the lessons.

Citizens will get acquainted with the history of ballroom dances, both well-known and undeservedly forgotten, and immerse themselves in the extraordinary atmosphere of an old ball, the main dance of which is the waltz. An important part of the lessons will be the study of the features of etiquette, the way of life, culture, and social relations of a certain period of Russian history. The organizer of the lessons is the dance group “Sretenie”, which operates under the department for work with the youth of the Kazan diocese.

Lessons will be held every Sunday in the Lyadskoy Garden at 6.30 pm on the site near the fountain, reports the press service of the Kazan diocese.
