Kazan citizens will dance with the stars, learn karate moves, and take part in book-crossing

Activities within the project “Cultural Wednesday” will be held in the parks and squares of the city.

(KZN.RU, August 27). On August 29, another series of events in the framework of the project “Cultural Wednesday” will take place in Kazan. This time the project will go beyond the usual site near the Puppet Theater “Ekiyat” and cover the parks and squares of the city. Kazan citizens will be able to take part in dance master classes, learn to draw and master the techniques of karate.

At 4 pm, the dance studio Kingstep organizes a dance evening on the site near the Puppet Theater “Ekiyat”. The best teachers of Kazan, winners of significant Russian championships, winners of the TV project “Big Dances”, and participants in the hip-hop team of Kingstep crew will conduct open master classes for everyone.

The thematic exhibition “Leo Tolstoy, time to read” will work in the Gorky Park, Sosnovaya Roscha, and the Aksenov Square at 5 pm. Also, there will be various creative master classes, and the book-crossing will be organized. Karate master classes will take place in Aksenov Square.

In addition, parks Krylya Sovetov, Uritsky, and Kontinent, Derbyshki Square and Gorkinsko-Ometyevsk forest will host festive events on the eve of the City Day at 5 pm.

All planned events will be held subject to good weather, reports the Department of Culture.
