Kazan citizens became the winners of the IT-hackathon in the field of energy

The winners will present their projects on April 12 at the TEF-2019 conference at the “Kazan Expo”.

(KZN.RU, April 12). A couple from Kazan became the winner of the IT-hackathon EnergyHack. The contestants had to develop an online platform in a short time to search for and select service providers for connection to power grids.

Hackathon in the field of energy was held in the capital of Tatarstan and gathered more than 60 young developers from Kazan, Innopolis, Naberezhnye Chelny, Samara, and Ulyanovsk. Only 11 of them have reached the final selection. Under the terms of the competition, the solution developed by the team had to be integrated with the software used in the network companies, as well as take into account legislation in the industry. The prize fund of the contest was 350 thousand rubles.

As a result, the first place was taken by the Kazan team “EnergyCrew”, which managed to create the most transparent and well-developed product. The second place went to Samara citizens “Frontguys”, and the third to representatives of Naberezhnye Chelny “Umplace”.

The winners of the EnergyHack hackathon will present their projects today as part of the conference on energy, energy efficiency and resource saving TEF-2019 at the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”, according to the website of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the RT.
