Kazan citizens collected almost 5.3 tons of recyclables

More than 1.5 thousand people visited the mobile point on June 30.

(KZN.RU, July 3). Kazan citizens brought almost 5370 kg of recycled materials to a mobile point, which worked on June 30 in one of the malls. More than 1.5 thousand Kazan residents took part in the collection of recyclables.

For several hours of the mobile point’s operation, activists collected 1689 kg of waste paper, 1736.6 kg of glass, 351 kg of hard plastic, 350.7 kg of soft plastic, 207.1 kg of Tetra Pak packages, 145 kg of metal, 14 kg of discs, 42.7 kg of equipment, and 82 kg of toys. Also, 692 kg of clothing and textiles were collected for charity. Funds received from 59.5 kg of caps will be donated to the shelter “Kot i Pes”, report the organizers.
