Kazan residents will have an opportunity to test their knowledge on “Total Dictation”

In Kazan, the participants of the event will pass test at more than 200 sites.

Registration for participation in “Total Dictation” has begun in Tatarstan. The educational event will be held on April 8 at more than 1,000 sites in the republic, while in Kazan, there will be about 200 sites– in libraries, universities, cultural centers, museums and other places.

This year, the main sites for "Total Dictation" in Kazan are the Pushkin Cultural Center, the Tatarstan National Library and the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU. Actors, singers, bloggers and celebrities will read the text.

For reference, the author of the text is the writer, journalist, nominee of the Big Book and National Bestseller awards Vasily Avchenko. The works will be checked by leading experts-philologists.

The organizers of the event in Tatarstan were the Russian National Cultural Association of the republic of Tatarstan together with the Regional Youth Public Organization “Center for Cultures and Dialogue” of the republic of Tatarstan with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Youth Affairs and Ministry of Education and Science.
