Kazan citizens could learn more about the Chukchi language, Lezghian literature, and listen to Saami tales

<p> (KZN.RU, August 28). On August 30, a festival of national literature of the peoples of Russia will take place on the square near the Family Center “Kazan”. Each participant of the festival can plunge into the national color of literature and languages, learn more about the Chukchi language, Lezghian literature, get acquainted with the poets of the Erzyan and Mokshan languages. </p> <p> The event will be held from 10.30 am to 5 pm at various locations. Thus, representatives of Avar, Kalmyk, and Altai languages will perform in the tent “Aksakaly”. Creative meetings with the Shor poet, with the children's writer from Komi will be held in the book tent. The presentation of the book of the Crimean-Tatar prose writer will take place there as well. In the lecture tent, you can listen to lectures on the culture of Yakutia, the Tatar theater, and Russian poetry. A separate literary program has been prepared for children in the children's tent: an interactive program “Saami tales”, bright filmstrips on tales of the peoples of Russia, a master class on traditional Nanai instruments, and much more. </p> <p> A concert program will be held on the big stage in addition to lectures, master classes, and meetings with creative groups. The ensembles of the RT, Yakutia, Kemerovo region, Tyumen region, and other regions of Russia will perform. </p> <p> The aim of the festival is to popularize and support the rare languages of nationalities of our country, to promote the development and integration of multinational literature into a single cultural and intellectual space of modern Russia. Within the framework of the festival, creative delegations will discuss trends in the development of national literature, difficulties in translation, and other issues. </p> <p> The event will be held with the support of the Government of the RT, the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, and the Kazan City Hall. </p>
