(KZN.RU, February 27). Kazan citizens delivered 2.5 tons of recyclable materials and clothing last weekend. 438 residents of the city joined the action.

Kazan citizens brought to a mobile point in one of the malls of the city 231 kg of soft plastic, 154.5 kg of hard plastic, 112 kg of metal, 632 kg of glass, 748 kg of waste paper, 414 kg of clothing for the charity shop “Ecological”, and caps from plastic bottles, foil, appliances, toys, books, and more. More than 20 volunteers helped eco-activists to accept recyclable materials.

The mobile point is a social project aimed at promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle in the city and regularly collecting recyclables for processing.
